About Me
My name is Eleni Petraki. I am a PhD candidate at the Database Architectures group of the Dutch National Research Center for Mathematics and Computer Science (CWI) in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. I work with Prof. Martin Kersten (Univerity of Amsterdam), Prof. Stefan Manegold (University of Leiden) and Asst. Prof. Stratos Idreos (Harvard University). My PhD focuses on automatic physical design in main-memory column-oriented database management systems. My research interests include database architectures, adaptive indexing, multidimensional indexing and parallel query processing.
